What is interaction design?
This introductory week to the Master's in Interaction Design was both engaging and inspiring. As students from diverse backgrounds and countries, we each presented our interpretation of the question, 'What does interaction design mean to you?' I took this opportunity to challenge myself by learning how to create AR posters, aiming to offer a unique and immersive poster viewing experience.

Perceiving time through Turkish tea experience.
What are alternative ways to perceive time? This experimental project explores representations of time without relying on clocks. The Turkish tea experience is almost ritualistic, fostering engagement with both our surroundings and the people around us. Our consumption becomes a reflection of ourselves as tea drinkers. To capture this concept, I designed a tea coaster that records the Turkish tea experience from the perspective of the tea itself, using analog photography techniques that respond to time, exposure, and environmental factors.

Reimagining stray animal care through glass recycling.
Street animals are an integral part of Turkish society, present throughout cities, streets, restaurants, and even homes. Despite frequent interactions with them, there is little to no systematic effort to ensure their care and well-being. Instead, their welfare relies on everyday people, many of whom lack the necessary knowledge or resources. This project seeks to address this issue by regulating the feeding of stray animals through an innovative approach that also promotes glass recycling—tackling two social challenges Türkiye faces simultaneously.
